Biography
Dr. Lewis received her PhD in Nutrition from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1985. She began her career at UNL in 1990 as an Assistant Professor in Foods and Nutrition and is currently Professor of Nutritional and Health Sciences.
Her research interests include instruction on aging and nutrition, eating behaviors to increase intake, multidisciplinary research on eating behaviors, and physical activity and schools. Specifically, Dr. Lewis is interested in research on the omega-3 fatty acid, advanced practice in dietetics, and human social dynamics as related to food, nutrition, and health.
