Biography
Christina Perry is a senior lecturer in the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences. She has a strong background in education including a K-12 teaching endorsement in Health Education from Illinois State University and a PhD in Health Promotion from the University of New Mexico-Albuquerque. Dr. Perry has over 20 years of teaching and consulting experience in the field of health education and health promotion.
Dr. Perry's research interests include health behavior motivation theory, community-based intervention planning/evaluation and school health issues related to child and youth health risk-behaviors and environmental influences.
