Abstract
This project is designed to develop a pre-recorded, 90-minute introductory web-based training module on family engagement for public school district preschool to third grade staff and administrators.
The training will broadly focus on the value and significance of collaborative partnerships with families and prompt reflection on current family engagement practices within schools and districts. Training will be accessible on-demand and stored on Nebraska Department of Education servers.
Depending on NDE interest, researchers may also deliver a one-time live session that would be organized and hosted by NDE.
Along with the 90-minute webinar — which will be split into two 45-minute segments — handouts will be included. Other deliverables include a study guide to accompany the training, and a pre- and post-training survey.
